What is it?
The Fanshawe Dragon Boat Festival, hosted by London’s own Rowbust Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Racing team, is a fun-filled community event that brings people together on the water at beautiful Fanshawe Lake while racing dragon boats!
Rowbust team members want to share the benefits of dragon boating with the London and area community. So, we’ve been hosting the Fanshawe Dragon Boat Festival since 2012. Teams of 20-25 paddlers participate in a variety of divisions representing a broad cross-section of the local community.
The festival attracts upwards of 2,500 paddlers and spectators and is designed to promote healthy activity, community spirit, and friendly competition.
