Rowbust would like to welcome everyone to the Fanshawe Dragon Boat Festival!
Festival participants, spectators, and vendors are all welcome in the Day-Use Area in Fanshawe Conservation Area!
NOTE: There is a $17/vehicle fee to enter the Fanshawe Conservation Area (2026).
Plan for an exciting day of races! You’ll be outside so bring your lawn chair and dress for the weather. Races will take place rain or shine with the only exception being lightning & thunder.
There is ample parking at the RACE SITE!
There will be lots to see and do at this year’s festival. Cheer on your favourite teams as they race on beautiful Fanshawe Lake. Visit the Vendor Village to grab a bite to eat from the on-site food vendors then do some shopping and check out all the cool merchandise for sale at the Festival.
Lots of activities are happening throughout the day – there’s something for everyone!

6:00 am Team Registration opens @ Lakeview Pavilion.
7:20 am Captains’ & Sterns’ meeting. [Lakeview Pavilion area]
7:40 am Welcome & ENERGIZING/NOISY drumming warm up with Rosa! [Lakeview Pavilion area]
8:30 am Paddles UP! Racing Begins. (Marshalling for 1st race at 8:00 am)
11:00 am BCS Flower Ceremony – On Water (time approximate – after first round of racing)
12:30 pm or 1pm Lion Dance – performed by CCNC – London Chapter
2:00 pm-ish Division Awards throughout the afternoon [Lakeview Pavilion area]
4:30 pm Sarah’s Challenge Cup – 2k Race – Top 8 teams ** A “can’t miss” race!! **
