Dragon Dream Team – Dream – Akron, Ohio, USA
The Dragon Dream Team is celebrating its 20th season as Ohio’s first all breast cancer survivor dragon boat team. Based in Akron, Ohio, the team is more than 95 members strong and united by a shared commitment to health, camaraderie, and living fully after breast cancer.
In addition to competing locally, nationally, and internationally, the team leads meaningful community outreach through Boatloads of Hope, delivering a silk pashmina and message of encouragement to women newly diagnosed with breast cancer throughout Northeast Ohio.
As the Dragon Dream Team marks two decades of paddling, sisterhood, and service, the team is honored to represent Akron, Ohio, and the United States while competing in France this August.
