Practice Sessions will be held in the two weeks leading up to the Festival.

Thank you Team Captains for scheduling your training sessions. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the Fanshawe Yacht Club to learn about the sport of Dragon Boat Racing!

Steerspersons will be available for each session, but please advise if you have your own qualified stern.  It is mandatory that they attend each practice with your team.

All practices will take place at The Fanshawe Yacht Club on Fanshawe Lake.  There is no fee for dragon boaters to enter the park. To get to the Yacht Club, follow the main road over the dam, turn right and continue following the road through the campground.  The gate to the club is on the right. There will be signs posted and volunteers onsite to assist you.

At all practice sessions AND on race day – DO NOT leave children or pets unattended, or with anyone under the age of 18. We are NOT responsible for children or pets.
